Dr. Jubert is joined in Cape Town by his wife and three children, all who attend AISCT.

HEAD OF SCHOOL’S WELCOME

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the ÎÛÓ£ÌÒÊÓƵ (AISCT), one of Africa’s leading international schools.

ÎÛÓ£ÌÒÊÓƵis a vibrant, diverse, and forward-looking community committed to excellence in teaching and learning. This year marks another exciting chapter in our continued growth and development as we welcome more than 600 students to campus, the largest enrollment in the school’s history. This growth reflects the strength of our community and the confidence families continue to place in AISCT. It also allows us to further strengthen the student experience, including the addition of new sections in the Lower School and Middle School to better support learning, connection, and belonging.

Across the school, we continue to refine and expand our academic program. This includes a differentiated World Language program beginning in Grade 4, expanded Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities in the High School, and a continued focus on mathematics acceleration in the Lower School and Middle School. These developments reflect our commitment to meeting students where they are, challenging them appropriately, and ensuring they are well prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.

The year ahead will also be significant for our campus and institutional growth. Construction will begin on our new Fine Arts facility, an important step in further supporting creativity, performance, and the arts at AISCT. In addition, we will welcome our WASC visiting team for our six-year reaccreditation visit, an important opportunity to reflect on our progress, celebrate our strengths, and continue refining our shared vision for the future.

While these developments are exciting, growth at ÎÛÓ£ÌÒÊÓƵis not simply about becoming bigger; it is about becoming stronger, more responsive, and more intentional in how we serve students. With the steady leadership of our School Board and School Council, our dedicated faculty and staff, our committed Parents and Teachers Association(PATA), we continue to achieve great things together.

And achieve we do. Our students, representing more than 60 nationalities, create a true international mosaic. Their remarkable accomplishments, including exceptional AP results and university acceptances to leading institutions around the world, are a testament to their talent, hard work, and ambition. Our community partners, including our accrediting body , our , our collaboration with the , and our affiliation with the , ensure that we uphold rigorous international standards.

As one of the oldest and largest international schools in the Western Cape, I am proud of what ÎÛÓ£ÌÒÊÓƵhas accomplished throughout its history and even more excited about where we are headed. This is a school rooted in relationships, strengthened by diversity, and united by a shared commitment to helping every student thrive.

If you are visiting our website for the first time, I encourage you to explore and learn more about our school. If you are a prospective family, we would be delighted to welcome you for a campus tour.

Sincerely,

Dr. Daniel Jubert
Head of School
