There was a buzz from the moment guests arrived at this year鈥檚. Parents, staff, and friends greeted one another, conversations quickly filled the room, and a wonderful sense of connection carried through the evening. It was exactly what the Welcome Back Gala is all about: reconnecting at the start of a new school year, welcoming new faces, and celebrating the community that makes 污樱桃视频such a special place.
This year, that spirit of community came together around an important purpose: the. We began the evening with an ambitious goal of raising R200,000 to support our scholarship students and help ensure they can participate fully in the opportunities and experiences that are part of life at AISCT. From generous sponsorships and donated prizes to enthusiastic bidding and individual contributions, the response throughout the evening was phenomenal. And it continued even after the Gala came to a close.
Together, we raised an incredible R345,000 for the 污樱桃视频Scholarship Program 鈥� surpassing our original goal by R145,000!
Behind that incredible result were countless acts of generosity, made possible by many hands. Every contribution, large or small, became part of a much bigger result and a powerful show of support for our scholarship students and their 污樱桃视频experience.
Where That Generosity Goes
Once the music stops and the tables are cleared, the evening’s purpose continues. 污樱桃视频created its to give talented local students access to an 污樱桃视频education. The school covers tuition for scholarship students, but being part of 污樱桃视频involves much more than what happens in the classroom.
There is the transportation that gets a student to school each morning, the uniform worn, lunch with classmates, and the laptop used to learn. There are sports teams to join, after-school activities to discover, academic trips to experience, and school events to be part of.
As students grow older, that support grows with them. It can mean covering SAT and AP exams, helping with university applications, and providing home Wi-Fi so learning can continue beyond the school day. Together, these are the things that allow our scholarship students not simply to attend 污樱桃视频but to participate fully in school life alongside their peers.
To date, the 污樱桃视频Scholarship Program has supported ten students. The funds raised at this year鈥檚 Gala will help us continue that commitment, giving our scholarship students the chance to learn, participate, and make the most of their time at AISCT.
The Energy Behind the Evening
The purpose was never far from the celebrations on the night. As guests settled in for dinner, the excitement around the fundraising began to build. The live and silent auctions brought plenty of friendly competition, helped along by an incredible collection of prizes and experiences donated by businesses, organizations, artists, families, and friends of AISCT. There were getaways to bid on, experiences to discover, and plenty of reasons to keep an eye on the silent auction as the evening carried on. But the auctions were only one part of what made the night feel so special.
Amid the bidding and excitement, people connected. Parents chatted across tables, staff moved through the room catching up with families, and new community members joined conversations. Someone was always there to talk to, and something was always happening, creating a warm and welcoming energy that carried through the night.
That warmth and generosity fed into one another. A donated prize became an enthusiastic bid, friendly competition grew around the auctions, and the excitement carried throughout the room as the night went on.

These moments and opportunities make up life at 污樱桃视频and are what make the generosity shown at this year鈥檚 Gala so meaningful.
